About
Independent software engineer and digital product builder. I turn ideas into software people actually use.

Software Engineer & Product Builder
I'm Ugochukwu, an independent software engineer. I build websites, web applications and SaaS products end to end, from the interface people touch to the database, payments and infrastructure underneath.
I work directly with founders and businesses. No account managers, no hand-offs. We start by understanding the problem, then I design, build and ship it, and keep you in the loop the whole way.
What I care about is simple: products that are fast, feel considered, and are built well enough that any engineer could pick them up after me.
01Principles
01
The first job is the problem, not the code. Goals, users and constraints come before any stack decisions.
02
You work with the person building your product. Clear updates, no jargon, no account managers.
03
Clean, structured code you own outright, easy for any engineer to pick up and extend.
04
Auth, data and payments are handled carefully from day one, not patched in at the end.

03Process
01
We talk through the problem, your users, goals and budget, and agree on what success looks like.
02
Architecture, features and technical direction, scoped with a clear quote and timeline.
03
The experience and interface, shaped and agreed before production code begins.
04
The product and the systems behind it (auth, data, payments, integrations), with regular updates.
05
Performance, responsiveness, security and usability, checked on real devices.
06
Deployed, monitored and improved, with support after launch if you need it.
Every project is scoped individually based on complexity, features, and timeline. Book a service or send a project brief on WhatsApp, and you'll get a clear, upfront quote before any work begins — no surprise costs.
It depends on scope — a marketing site might take one to two weeks, while a full SaaS platform or e-commerce build can take several weeks longer. You'll get a realistic timeline as part of the initial quote.
Yes. Every project comes with a support window after launch to fix any issues, and I offer ongoing maintenance arrangements for clients who want continued updates, monitoring, or new features down the line.
Yes — full source code and ownership transfer to you once the project is paid in full. There's no vendor lock-in.
Absolutely. Whether you have an existing site that needs improvements, a Figma/design file to implement, or you're starting from a blank slate, I can work with whatever you already have.
Mainly through WhatsApp for quick, direct updates, with regular check-ins as work progresses so you always know exactly where things stand — no waiting weeks for a status update.
Modern, production-proven tools across the stack — React, Next.js, Vue, and Tailwind CSS on the frontend; Node.js, Express, and Python/FastAPI on the backend; and PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, or Supabase for data. See the full list on the About page.
